From analysis to action - how we built Nackademin's new website

The client and the challenge

When Nackademin approached us, their goal was clear: to create a website that supports both users and the organization. With strong audience insight and high ambitions for both design and function, we began a close collaboration to develop a site that truly delivers.

User-focused - for every audience

Nackademin offers vocational education in future-focused industries - from tech to healthcare. It's a complex offering with multiple entry points for prospective students, partners, and professional organizations. The new website needed to make navigation easier - no matter who the visitor is or what they're looking for.

“The challenge was to create a website that is both intuitive and inspiring for multiple audiences - from young students to seasoned professionals. We solved that by restructuring the content and using a modern design that helps users find their way” says Peter Burgman, designer at Mild.

We created audience-specific navigation, a clearer structure, and flexible content areas where Nackademin can feature timely and relevant material. We also improved the application flow, especially on program pages. Early on in the project, it was clear that accessibility, usability, and editorial efficiency were top priorities for Nackademin.

A website built for growth

The new interface is designed to last - and to evolve. We developed a design system that is both consistent and flexible, giving Nackademin’s team more freedom to work with content. At the same time, we prioritized SEO and performance, which is already starting to show results.

“We refreshed the colors and typography to strengthen the brand identity, combining clear navigation with a look and feel that’s both professional and inspiring” says Peter.

“I’m especially proud of how we managed to strike the balance between clarity and inspiration - the result is a website that’s easy to use and visually engaging.”

Since launch, we’ve continued to work together on everything from SEM to ongoing maintenance. For us at Mild, it’s been a close and rewarding collaboration - with high engagement from both sides. And we’ve truly enjoyed the ride.
